Amongst other things like our beloved Singapore skyline and my future insurance payout being shrouded in the recent haze (and its subsequent induced madness), I’d almost lost this batch of photos as well. This preview party of i.t at Wisma Atria took place during the peak of the insanity – last Wednesday night, which should have been the night when it hit 290 or 320 on the PSI reading. hohoho.
What’s more, as the Chinese say, 好事成双 (good things come in twos), so in addition to the bad air quality, our train service broke down (again). I (along with perhaps 1 million other people) took a cab, which lead to the mother of all jams at the back of Orchard Road. I was stuck there for a good $4′s worth, and boy, was I in an almighty grump when I arrived. Oh yes, of course I missed the fashion show. Now I’ll never know what trendy Hong Kongers dress like. sigh.
