I’ve written about my bag lady problem before, I am always carrying at least 3. Work bag, lunch bag, and purse. Now I’ve corraled as mush as I can into a bigger bag but there is still too much stuff. To go along with all those bags I have switched to a really small wallet. The challenge in that is finding it in your purse when you are in a hurry. There’s a solution for that on your phone. And I am talking Android since I am a very happy convert now!
There’s a Softcard app that let’s you pay with your phone. Seriously! Softcard is accepted at over 275,000 locations and I used it at Walgreens and Petco. I was picking up a few more supplies for Henry (our new pig). He needed a different litter box, some toys and treats. Here he is snuggling up in the dog bed. Look at the little face!
Just had to add in that cute picture. He’s pretty fun! And Clifford and Tanner are doing pretty well with him too. Since I had my hands full at the checkout it was great to just pull out my phone and put it near the terminal. That was it! I already had the app on my phone and just had to create an account and link my payment information. Even if you open the app your payment information isn’t just out in the open. This is very secure (in case you are worried about that). My Galaxy S5 has an enhanced SIM card that stores payment information securely. Makes me feel much better about using it!
