I am not sure if it was 2001 or 2002 when I have met Anna (Ania) for the first time. Also I am not sure any more if we were in a bus to or from Poland to the Netherlands, yest there were the times, I was traveling 20 hours by bus to get to the Netherlands. What I remember is that Ania and me, we spent talking the whole journey like we have known each other for ages. And funny enough we are both from Warsaw / Poland. What is your dream?
Travel the world with my son to come and my husband.
What is my dream job?
Working for the European Commission in Brussels, in an international environment.
How did you achieve your goal = dream job? / how do you plan to achieve your goal=dream job?
Sometimes it can be a lengthy and difficult process. You have to take exams so studying is essential.
I always keep myself up to date with European affairs, look out for people who already work for the institution and can give me advice and volunteer to enhance my CV and learn new skills. Languages are also important and I have always put great emphasis on them.
What is your tip to others concerning the Dream Job / Life?
First of all, research so that you know a lot about what you want to do or where you want to work. And be brave and persistent. Sometimes getting what you want might require a lot of time but if something is truly in your heart, you mustn’t give up. It is worth fighting for that one job which you hopefully will be enjoying for the rest of your life. Do not let the fear of risk prevent you from going after what you really want.
Who are you?
I am a Pole who is currently living in London where I finished uni, and where I am now working in a UAE headquartered oil company. In love with Brazil, traveling and dance, the latter currently on hold due to baby Max coming very soon.
