The Mung Bean (aka Green Bean) mask is a popular Asian homemade face mask that's great for acne-prone skin! The mask requires 3 products that detoxifies, soothe, and moisturizes the face. Immediately after using this mask, you'll have a brighter complexion and your face will feel soft and supple. Use this mask 2-3 times a week for about 6-8 weeks to effectively help clear your blemishes
For this mask, you'll need:
1 tsp. Mung Bean Flour (you can purchase this in Asian supermarkets or purchase the whole beans and grind them finely)
2 tsp. Yakult (you can substitute this with plain organic yogurt or purchase it in most Asian markets - don't use flavored yogurt!)
Honey (suggested, but optional)
====== Let's Get Started!!! ======
1.Combine all the ingredients listed above. You might need to make adjustments on how much of each you use...just remember that you want it to be paste-like (if it's too "wet" or "dry", you'll have a hard time applying the mask).
2. With a cleansed face, generously apply the mask evenly all over your face and neck.
3. Leave the mask on for 25-40 minutes - as it dries, you might feel it tightening a bit.
4. Wash off the mask with warm water.
5. Finish with a splash of cold water and then tone and moisturize as usual.
