Daniella's Pledge
I, Daniella, of Madame Gourmand, promise that I will never criticise anyone on my blog due to their appearance or style, I believe everyone is beautiful in their own way either inside or outside. I am my own worst critic and I promise to accept the way I am and to stop judging myself so much.
The Bad
Picture 1 is a picture I don't like, it was taken for an advertisement and I look really miserable in it, I was really upset when the picture was used in a national magazine as I look fat and ugly and not at all like myself.The Good
My second picture is a recent picture taken on a night out which I now use on my blog, twitter and facebook. I was not aware that the picture was going to be taken so I look really natural, it's my favorite picture of me at the moment. To the outsider both pictures probably look the same, my hair is the same colour, my face is the same but to me the second picture looks better because it is natural, I look happy and comfortable.The Unconventional Beauty
Madonna is an artist who does not always look beautiful and is know for her many incarnations, she constantly updates her look. Madonna does not conform to the norm in any way, she is worth millions yet has never had her teeth fixed, she is now known for the gap between the front teeth and why not? Madonna is a woman who embraces her sexuality sometimes to the extreme but is not afraid to do it. I know to a lot of people Beautiful is not the first word that springs to mind when madonna is mentioned but to me she is Beautiful.
