Cover Girl Colorlicious Gloss in Whipped Berry

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I am back! I didn't mean for this hiatus to be so long, but life got pretty hectic.  But I am back and ready to get back to blogging.  My first review is going to be for a newly released lip gloss from Cover Girl, the Colorlicious Gloss.  If you have been in a drug store recently, you have likely spotted them already.  Something about these glosses just screams summer.

Shade
Whipped Berry appears to be an incredibly bright pink (almost terrifyingly so) in the tube.  But it is actually very sheer.

Formula
I have never been a Cover Girl fan, so I didn't have high hopes for this product. But it has pleasantly surprised me.  The texture is quite nice.  It isn't thick, goopy or sticky.  It applies amazingly smooth and even feels lightly hydrating on my lips.  The only disappointing thing (and only slightly) is the sheerness.  You would expect a vibrant, show stopping pink.  But once applied, the gloss is sheers out quite a bit and gives a subtle pink tint.  It is also important to note that this gloss is scented..vamilla/caramel, maybe?  I don't find it overpowering and it vanishes upon application.
Packaging
The packaging can be described in one phrase: simple, yet nice.  The gloss is housed in a clear tube that showcases the color and it comes with a nice, soft doe foot applicator.
Overall Impression
I think it is worth picking up one or two shades if you want a sheer wash of glossy color.  I found them at CVS and Walgreens.  I haven't seen them pop up at stores like Ulta, Target or Walmart just yet.
