Classic Egg Salad Sandwich

I don`t know what you guys think about this lovely classic egg salad sandwich recipe but I still remember when I was a kid and mom use to make this almost every Sunday afternoon. Now I have tried it many time to make it just like mom but I am just missing a simple and vital ingredient. I don`t know if this can be called a healthy lunch ideas recipe because it has mayonnaise in it, but it just tastes divine. I would really appreciated if you guys can leave a word or two at the end and share your classic egg salad sandwich so I can try and improvise my recipe and see which ingredient has been missed out. I know not many people like egg so they won`t enjoy this classic egg salad sandwich recipe but honestly once your try it you won`t stop eating any-ways enjoy it!

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 slices white bread
Directions:
  1. In a saucepan with enough water to cover boil eggs for 8 to 10 minutes.
  2. Rinse in cold water.
  3. Peel off shell.
  4. Place eggs in a bowl and mash with a fork.
  5. Stir in mayonnaise, salt and pepper to blend.
  6. Spread on bread to make sandwiches.

Makes 4 servings.
