I picked this up on a whim about two weeks ago, and it is a wonderful, neutral palette. For $8.00, you get five shadows. NYX describes the shade as "shimmery and matte neutrals." The texture is amazing, very smooth and not chalky. And that even applies to the matte shades. The best color as far as pigment and texture goes is the darker taupe shade on the right. With primer, the shadows last on me all day with no fading or creasing.
I also like the simple, thin packaging. Although it is very easy to open with just a fingernail, so I cannot safely recommend it for long term travel. However, if you need to carry it in your purse for the day, it will be fine. Considering the staying power, that should not be necessary.
