Basic Fruit Smoothie
There are tons of recipes on smoothie but the best ones are made from basic fresh fruits. This basic fruit smoothie recipe is not only easy to make but it also tastes great. It revitalises your entire body in a matter of minutes. This best thing about this basic fruit smoothie recipe is that it is made of fresh ingredient of your likings. Having smoothie is best to have before / after a good workout or on a hot summer day. It is also a great substitute for any other drink which you might otherwise have as your healthy lunch drink. This basic fruit smoothie is also great to have in your breakfast, another way to boost your metabolism and health; and a great way to start your day. Although it might not be everyone`s taste and but that can be sweetened with honey or some non-fat sweetener’s.
Ingredients
- 1 quarter strawberries, hulled
- 1 banana, broken into chunks
- 2 peaches
- 1 cup orange or peach or mango or apple juice
- 2 cups ice
- In a blender, combine strawberries, banana and peaches.
- Blend until fruit is pureed.
- Blend in the juice.
- Add ice and blend to desired consistency.
- Pour into glasses and serve.
