1. Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 in Cranberry
I love my Burt's Bees for usual days but I definitely turn to my Kiehl's when I have flaky lips. I don't have that bad a problem with dry lips so this works good enough for me. And not forgetting to mention, the amazing Cranberry scent. Love.
2. Botani Soothing Facial Mist*
I've been an absolute fan of this one since I reviewed it here few months ago. Seriously, after using it every day and every night, I'm only about a quarter into the bottle. Definitely value for money. I love how gentle yet nourishing it is on my skin. And it's not too oily which is another draw for me.
3. L'Oreal Youth Code Booster Serum
I have been looking for a serum and saw this on 50% at Woolys so I had to get it. I have been using it every night for 3 weeks now and I really enjoy it. The consistency is quite runny and it is so, so light and gentle. I believe it really helps to boost hydration and I always wake up with smooth, happy skin.
4. Mary Kay Eyeshadow Quad in Intrigue
Having been a little too obsessed with my Naked palette and dark eyeshadow looks lately, I took a break and started using my Mary Kay Quad again. The beautiful yellow and pink shades just complement my skin tone so well; and that was according to my husband. My husband is my biggest critic so when he says something is nice, it must be really nice. I did some swatches of my Mary Kay haul here.
5. Bobbi Brown Rich Color Lip Gloss in Pink Raspberry
I have had this in my stash for quite a long time now and have forgotten about it. I love Bobbi Brown products, as influenced by my mum who used to always repeatedly ask me: "Don't you think Bobbi Brown products just look so nice?". Yes, I agree. I love this Pink Raspberry shade; it's also minty and refreshing.
6. Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Golden Beige
This is one of Bobbi Brown's cult products and a recent purchase of mine. I just never believed that a foundation stick could be hydrating enough and nicely blended (I have dry skin). This one lives up to its reputation, I'd say. I have had no problems with blending it all out nicely and it comes in a classy looking tube, which means easy touch-up on the go.
7. Bourjois Volume Clubbing Mascara in Absolute Black
I got this from a freebie website, PinchMe. This mascara works awesome for me and just makes my eyelashes really... intense. Slight problem with clumping for me but no worries as I just use an eyelash comb to gently comb through and separate the clumps. This has been my go-to mascara this month.
Hope you enjoyed reading my favourites for April 2013. I can't believe we are heading into May. Have you done a Favourites post too? Feel free to leave your link and I'd love to check it out x
