Antique Golden Rose Birthday Cake

After making countless fondant-covered cakes I felt I needed to do something new and different for my Ma’s 80th birthday. I found this Swiss Meringue Buttercream recipe a while ago and fell in love with it’s silkiness, paired with my favourite chocolate cake this is what I managed to create.
