An Unusual Wedding Gift for My Favourite Couple!

I had the pleasure of attending my best girl Kirsty’s wedding on Saturday (outfit post to come!) and for months before I had been racking my brain for what to give her and her now-husband as a wedding gift. They didn’t have a wedding list and have been living together for quite a while and have all the usual household stuff you’d give as a wedding gift.
Lucky I came across a lovely blog called Deep Fried Freckles which is written by Malia who is a wonderful illustrator. I emailed Malia and asked if I could commission her to create an illustration of my friend and her partner and she agreed, yaaay!
I sent Malia a few photos of the happy couple and she chose to use the one below.

Isn’t it fab?! I gave this to my friend and her partner in a wooden heart shaped frame and I really hope they like it when they open it!
If Mr Juicy and I get married I’m thinking of asking Malia to do a little illustration of the two of us for our wedding invitations! Wouldn’t that be lovely? P.S No we are not engaged, I’m just mental.
