Almond Bark

To think that one can make such a wonderful  delicacy from just a few simple ingredients, at times a mans intelligence really amazes me. This almond bark is just the think when had and one needs to say, it has made my day. A snack  which can be enjoyed right after your otherwise boring but healthy lunch ideas or other meals or during your snack time. This almond bark  recipe is a gift sent from heaven to humans not only does kids loves them but this recipe also satisfies the cravings of an adult. Enjoy it and tell me about your experience about this lovely almond bark recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Whole blanched almonds
  • 1 Tsp. Butter
  • 1 Lb. White chocolate
Directions:
  1. This is a microwave recipe.
  2. Place almonds and butter in a 9″inch glass pie plate.
  3. Cook on high (max. power) 4 to 5 1/2 minutes, or until almonds are toasted, stirring twice during cooking.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Place chocolate in large microwave proof mixing bowl and cook on high (max. power) 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, or until softened.
  6. Stir in almonds and pour onto waxed paper lined baking sheet.
  7. Spread to desired thickness and refrigerate until set.
  8. Break into serving size pieces.
  9. Makes (approx.) 1 1/2 lbs.
