This particular set has a little bit of everything and it is perfect for seasoned beauty addicts like myself or someone who is just joining the madness. There are four full sized products in this kit, which is $49 and valued at $181. It really is quite a steal.
The product I was most excited about was Smashbox's Always On Liquid Lipstick in Stepping Out. I used this today and I was very impressed! It doesn't feel drying at all and somehow it stays on even though it doesn't dry down completely. I was skeptical of the color at first, but I ended up loving it. It is a warm toned nude. This alone is $24.
It also comes with the original BeautyBlender, which has become a cult classic. I had one and absolutely loved it. I have found cheaper sponges that I like, but none are as good as the original. A Beauty Blender will set you back $20.
The third product is something I already love and that is the Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown. I ran out of mine a few months ago but never re-purchased because I have been on a brow mascara kick lately since they are easy and quick. And to be perfectly honest, there are plenty of budget friendly options out there that are just as good. This is full size and costs $21.
I don't know why, but I was a little shocked to see a hair product in here. There is a 1.7 oz bottle of the Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. This is supposed to add volume and texture to all hair types. I have used it a few times to refresh my curls. It is okay. These kind of products don't work well for me because my hair is so thick and they don't give me the kind of hold I need. This product is $15.
Something we always need is an eye makeup remover, so they included a 1.69 oz bottle of the Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. I haven't used this yet, but it does have great reviews on Sephora. This size is $7.50.
I love Tarte's blushes. One of the main reasons I chose this set over others is the inclusion of a mini Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade Prim. Prim is a rosy peach.
I'm always excited to try out a new liquid liner now that I am pretty good at winged liner. I just don't like Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Liner. It smears and bleeds pretty badly. This is full size and costs $22.
They also included the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. I like this and feel it does help my makeup stay on better. I just wish the mist were more fine. This stuff can drench your face. This is a mini one, so it is 0.5 oz. You can get the smallest bottle (1 oz) for $15.
There is a mini Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara in the set, too. I like the original Hypnose, but this one leaves my lashes looking a little bit clumpy.
The last product in this set is Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask. I haven't used this yet. My skin doesn't get dry very often, so I am saving it for when it gets colder and my skin really needs it. This is a deluxe size and it has 1 oz of product. You can't buy this size, but they do have a 1.7 oz for $15 and 0.34 oz for $4.
Smashbox Alway On Liquid Lipstick, Tarte Blush in Prim, and Stila Liquid Liner
This set is an amazing value! I got to try some new products as well as be reintroduced to a couple of things I have tried. You also get a really pretty silver bag. This would make a great gift for someone. Remember, this one is only available at Sephora Inside JC Penney.
