3 Start-Up Tips to Finding Your Voice (The Message You Want to Share With the World)

By Pamelabrowncoaching @coach_pam_brown

“You were put here on earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and do it courageously.”  Steve Maraboli

Have you ever experienced the feeling that there is something big you are supposed to do in the world?  That feeling that you are too big for the place that you are in- you know your heart is calling for more, but you just don’t know where to start?

I definitely do.

At the end of 2013, and going into 2014, I was in a state of disorientation.  I was so lost, felt so stuck and trapped in the job I was (and still currently am) working.  This job, that at one time had been my dream, was no longer fulfilling to me.  To be honest, I’m not sure that it ever completely was.

You see, a part of me had been awakened by a test called Strengthfinders.  I discovered that I wasn’t using my talents to the fullest, and that I was meant to do more than just be a personal trainer.  But what?

And if I am meant to make a huge change in the world, who am I to do that?  At the time I was going through a rough patch in life.  I felt like life had abandoned me; like God had forgotten about me.  I felt like a huge mistake, and that I had nothing of real value to share with the world.

These beliefs created so much pain in my life- I didn’t know what to do.  That is, until I got sick and landed in the hospital.  That was a huge wake-up call.

Along the way, I had to understand that I am worthy and I have something to share with the world.  To be 30, I am so full of wisdom and capabilities because of the challenges and difficulties I’ve endured.  I had to find my voice.

Are you in the same spot that I was in?  If so, here is a video that I created on helping you to get started in the right direction in finding your voice so you can fulfill your heart’s desire in sharing your voice with the world.

Let me know what you think!

Until next time
