2015 Goals

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

Back to the routine. Have a long weekend was so wonderful! I spent my time getting workouts in, resting, visiting with friends and family and it was just what I needed. And it was nice to not thinking about blogging for almost a week. I didn’t even pick up my camera. Rare for me.

2015 Goals

As I think about the upcoming year I have a few big goals:

  1. Continue with Crossfit. Our 2 months is up in early February and we will evaluate how we are feeling and if we want to join. Right now I am loving it and find that pushing myself really motivates me. Even if we don’t continue I know I will keep pushing myself with weights and cardio.
  2. Yoga Sculpt 1-2 times per week. Since I’ve been doing sculpt regularly for 3 years it feels like a part of me. It’s a great stress reliever and the fact that I burn 500+ calories a class is a pretty good reason.
  3. Travel. We need more travel in our life since 2014 was filled with only a few small trips. We’ve got a few things on the calendar and I can’t wait.
  4. And my word for the year, change. Sorry to be vague about this one but I need to see some major change in my life. 2014 was challenging and I am hoping 2015 leads to a lot of positive change. It needs to feature new experiences, foods, wine, travel, and fingers crossed on a few other major things. Focusing on one day at a time will get me through.

And a few things that I am working hard to make sure 2015 doesn’t include:

  1. Sinus issues. Fingers crossed that they are finally healing. I really don’t want to deal with any more sinus issues in 2015.
  2. Drama. No further explanation required.
  3. Insomnia, 2014 didn’t lead to much sleep and I am working hard these last few weeks to modify my sleep situation. Trying new routines, pillows, even lavender oil. Much needed! I always feel so much better after a good night of sleep and I need many more of those nights.
