Hey everyone! Today on the blog is a lovely eyeshadow palette from YSL. Its called the Saint Laurent Ombres 5 Lumieres – 5 Colour Harmony for Eyes.

Yves Saint Laurent Ombres 5 Lumieres
YSL OMBRES 5 LUMIERES TAWNY is an assortment of 5 satin finish eyeshadows, all perfect for parties and night time eye looks.
Yves Saint Laurent Eyeshadow Palette
The five colors are:
1. Top left is an orange eyeshadow, its an unusual color and I like it for the crease.
2. Bottom left is shimmer reflective true gold eyeshadow, which works best on all over the lids.
3.Right side top eyeshadow is a shimmery peach color, which looks good all over the lids ad also as the highlight shade.
4.Right side bottom eyeshadow is a beautiful chocolate brown eyeshadow which looks good on the outer v and also all over the lids.
5. The center eyeshadow is a lovely shimmery ivory eyeshadow, which is perfect for inner corner and highlight.
I am not a fan of using all shimmer/satin colors in an eye look so I generally use a matte color from any other palette . But other than that its a lovely palette.

All the eyeshadows are not very pigmented but they are easy to blend. Its an okay palette, quality wise I would expect better from YSL MAKEUP.

The texture is soft. Blending is not at all an issue with these eyeshadows, but you need a base underneath otherwise the colors will not show up as much, but then I always use a base underneath for eye makeup.Its a perfect eyeshadow palette for an Indian bride. All the colors are complimentary to the Indian skin tone, and would go very well with traditional Indian attires.
