When I saw that Nancy had sent me this in my Secret Santa parcel I was so super happy! I have been wanting to try a product from YSL for the longest time, but everything just seems so expensive and I wouldn't know which product to choose first.
I am usually not a big fan of lipgloss, I hate how it is sticky, on a windy day your hair gets caught in it, and they usually don't have great pigmentation, however this has changed my mind.
This gloss is super pigmented, it is more like a liquid lipstick and it is just gorgeous. It is a my lips but better color with golden glitter in it that shows up on the lips and looks 1000% gorgeous.I really like the effect, and it doesn't make it feel gritty at all. The applicator is a brush which I personally really like, and prefer over a doefut(or however you spell it) applicator, because you can get a much more precise application.
This gloss isn't at all sticky, yet it lasts a good hour on the lips, sometimes longer. I have never had a lipgloss stay on my lips that look before and so paying that it extra definitely pays off. They also smell of mangoes which is so delicious, the smell is amazing.
This comes in 18 shades, and they all look gorgeous so I would definitely recommend checking them out, they give a super glossy look to the lips, and they contain 0.2% 24 carat gold flecks! which create a mirror- like effect on the lips which is absolutely stunning. They also contain a complex of nourishing oils which protect and hydrate, and this definitely moisturises the lips whilst and after your wearing it, which is another added bonus.
The only downfall for the product is the price tag, at a whopping £22, which I think is so expensive for a lipgloss, so I now only wear this on special occasions! I don't know what I'm going to do when this runs out, it is amazing but so expensive.
What do you think?Have you tried anything from YSL?
