Yankee candles are becoming somewhat easier to find here in Australia. There are a few Australian online retailers I have found which are distributors for the company but I have never been able to find this brand in store.
Shopping at my local Trade Secret last weekend I found these candles. I was so excited. The selection was very minimal they only had the medium sized tumblers from the Fresh Collection but I am so happy I found them. I have always been put off buying online as you can't smell them for yourself you simply have to go off the description.
I picked up "Dune Grass" don't let the name fool you, I was expecting it to be a very clean, fresh smell something similar to the LUSH Grass Shower Gel but it's not. It is a very sweet, clean floral scent. If I saw this online I wouldn't have looked twice. These candles have a lovely strong fragrance when burning which fills the whole room. Now I have tried these I won't be going back to places like Dusk they really just don't compare.
I am very interested now in placing an order online. If any of my Australian readers have ordered Yankee Candles online before can you leave a comment below. I'd like to hear your experience.
