Workout Wednesday: The Fastest, Weirdest Workout Ever

By Khourianya @khourianya
I mentioned the Fast, Weird workout that I am doing for the next 3 weeks after I completed it on Monday this week.   Since I didn't go into a whole lot of detail, I thought I'd share it with you today.
This is a hybrid of the workouts described in The 4 Hour Body by Tim Ferriss.
Warning...this may not look like much but MAN did I feel it later.  Sneezing and laughing hurt for two days after as my core tried to cope.  My Thutt (that tricky part right where your thigh meets your butt) and my inner thighs were screaming at me.  But, while I did the workout, the only part that felt hard was the plank...and that's because I suck at planks.
You don't need much equipment - just a mat, kettlebell and a BOSU or Stability Ball
Total time to complete - around 15 mins

Hip Flexor Stretch (30 secs each side)

Glute Activation Raises (20 reps)

Flying Dog (15 each side for a total of 30)

Slow Myotatic Crunch (10 reps)

Cat Vomit (10 reps)

3-Way Plank (30 secs each way)
Workout Wednesday: The Fastest, Weirdest Workout Ever
Kettlebell swings (50 swings)

I just did it again so I guess we'll see how sore I am later ;)  It is a really good little workout.  I'm also much happier that the Kettlebelles decided to start earlier because having a deserted Gym made this much more comfortable for me.
Let me know if you give it a try - I'd love to hear what you think :)
