Woman Addicted to Eating Dirt [Video]

While most people are trying to get rid of their addiction to drugs and alcohol, some others are struggling to avoid very weird kinds of addictions. Like drinking their own urine, or in this case eating dirt freshly out of the ground.

Kristi Spinuzza, talked about her weird addiction of eating dirt in an episode of TLC’s “My Strange Addiction.” Although, after the episode she mentioned in an interview that most of the scenes in the episode were exaggerated. However she did seemed to enjoy eating and even drinking dirt at home and even while driving, which can clearly be seen in the video.

She’s been eating dirt since she was a child and it has caused severe damage to her teeth, which cost her over $20,000 for dental repairs and she’s now being treated for pancreatic cancer as well.

“It was always a smell to me that was soothing and comforting,” she said in the interview, ”I thought ‘well God made dirt, so dirt don’t hurt. So, I honestly didn’t think too much about it being bad for me.”
