today since they were coming home from church.
A lot of fields...

And I usually have all of these on shuffle. I literally sing whenever I`m in the car, and after 2.5 hours of driving each way, my throat is a little dry. Also, I`m sure a lot of people on the highway got a good show. I probably actually sound horrible, but to me I`m basically the next Shania...
I stuck to my diet pretty well this weekend with the exception of the candy. I was STARVING when I first got there, and so I slipped into the grocery store before we went to meet my dad at the Wingham Legion, and I got myself a banana and some slices of turkey. Dinner was salad, steak and potatoes. Breakfast/Lunch at the restaurant was sausages, potatoes and salad. Then the lame candy. Then at the shower they had Sundae’s, but I opted for some frozen fruit that they had for toppings sans ice cream and had water instead of punch. On the way home I snacked on a bit of beef jerky. Not too bad! Tomorrow I’m back in the gym HARD. I’m thinking about doing some intervals on the treadmill and see how my shin splints are doing. I’m a bit nervous since I haven’t ran in a few weeks and I don’t want it to hurt, but I really want to start running again. Right after I finished my half-marathon I registered for another 16km race the weekend before my awards gala. I’m still registered for said race, which means I should probably start training at some point. Oy vey. I will definitely let you know if my leg hurts, fingers crossed and PLEASE wish me luck! How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? The MMVA’s are tonight which I had originally planned on going to, but it’s so disgustingly hot and sticky outside, I’m opting to pain my nails and creep Pinterest instead. Stay sweet.
xoxo
