So last week I left you hanging. I basically told y’all that I’ve been super busy and that’s why I’ve been a bad blogger friend. One of the biggest reasons why I haven’t had much time to blog is:
Kyle and I are shoppin’ for a house!!
Yep. Soon (well, as soon as we buy a house. don’t really know how soon it will actually be) I will be very poor and it will be awesome! I’m so excited to start this next chapter of our lives together!
But whoever said turning 21 made you feel like an adult was a liar. Meeting with a mortgage broker, realtor, and all those people involved in buying a house- they make you feel like an adult. Bleh. It’s super scary but in the most awesome way.
We actually fell in love with a house last week and went as far as putting an offer on it. Well, 26 other people/couples loved it too and we didn’t end up getting that house. Oh well, I think we lost that house for a reason and we’ll find something we love even more.
Because of house hunting, that whole running thing has been on the back burner. I ran a couple times last week and did a tiny bit of strength training throughout. Other than that I didn’t really have the time (or energy) to do anything else.
Last Monday and this past Monday, I woke up around 5AM to run. It sounds like I’m all motivated and whatnot, but really I just roll out of bed and I’m like ugh,
I’m hoping this week will be better. I got in a 30 min run + abs yesterday. Today was cross training, and I hope to get some good runs in later this week. Maybe with a buddy?
It’s now 7PM and I want to go to bed already #iam90. Still have a lot of blogs to catch up on! Please don’t be offended if I haven’t caught up on yours yet! Hoping I’ll get back to regular blogging soon!
Home owners- what was your first home purchase experience like?
Any members of the 5AM workout club out there? How do you stay motivated?
