I wore this little ensemble today, and got told it was very ‘Amy Winehouse’ – apparently meant as a compliment – so thought I’d share it all with you to see if you agree. I think it was mainly due to the bee-hive-ish hair style (not shown in pics) – although mines was significantly less fabulous than Amy’s.
Anyone who follows my blog will realise they’ve seen all of these items before in different outfits. So firstly, let’s talk about the skirt. I talked at some length about my thoughts on this skirt in this post about a week or so ago. I feel this is a slightly smarter, and more feminine look than I featured then. In fact, I felt very feminine in this outfit so found myself sashaying down te corridors – o dear.
I wore a black tee. I love black tees as they go with anything and nothing is more understatedly sexy. This one is an old staple, and currently the only one of it’s kind in my wardrobe – I need to invest in more!
On my feet, my lovely pink moccasins. Still the comfiest pumps I’ve probably ever owned.
A fairly simple workwear outfit, but one I’ll definitely find myself going back to again.
