So yesterday I did a ittle post urging you to watch the ballet. I really think it is very much an underappreciated past time, especially within our age range, and is genuinely good value for money (tickets starts at £10), and thoroughly entertaining.
Today’s post is a little outfit I wore to see the English National Ballet perform Swan Lake at the ENO London Coliseum.
Given that it was the ENGLISH NATIONAL ballet, and the Olympics are currently in full swing, I was feeling particualrly patriotic, and decided upon a red, white and blue ensemble.
This wardrobe decision, combined with the day’s activities made me feel incredibly ladylike. A new favorite for sure.
I’ve also featured the blazer here and here. It’s just so gorgeous, and pretty much finishes any outfit. The blue and white polka dot dress is an old one from Tesco – a sure bet for cheap, but really pretty dresses. I genuinely think this looks far more expensive than it was and little skater dresses are just so cute. Pumps are Primark, bag Topshop – both old but there’s always something similar available, and as always my trademark pearls completed the look.
