This is a 2-4-1 post: an OOTD and restaurant review. Where work trips are concerned, the working day doesn’t stop just because the conference does. Every evening there’s some form of dinner or drinks reception to attend with work colleagues or newly-formed associates. On Tuesday evening, the four organisers (which included my bosses) and their employees all went to Sawadee, a thai restaurant, to celebrate. If you’re ever in the area, I thoroughly recommend a visit to this charming little place which serves gorgeous cuisine (I had the delicious duck pa-neang with coconut rice) for incredibly reasonable prices.

For the occasion, I work this slinky teal wrap dress which I bought from Tesco’s a while back for would-you-believe £6. Its shimmery material lends itself perfectly to evening events, whilst its modest hem and neck line ensure I maintain a professional appearance.
I added a small black and gold waist belt and black velveteen pumps and clipped my hair up at the back.
In the end, it was a throughly enjoyable night – odd that it was technically ‘work’.
