What To Wear For: Inbetween Weather

By Whattowearfor @whattowearfor

What is up with this weather? Last week was absolutely glorious, then the entire Jubilee bank holiday was grey and dreary. Even today, the weather was sunny and warm one minute and pouring with rain the next. One of the worst things about the unpredictbility is knowing what to wear. one minute you’ll be too hot, the next too cold. However, every now and again, you get it just right – and for me, today was one of those days! Hoorah! As this is such a rare occasion, I thought I’d share my perfect outfit for in-between weather. Let’s just hope I can perform another wardrobe miracle tomorrow :)

What To Wear For: Inbetween Weather

I think a pair of chino’s which look like the’ve been stolen them from your boyfriend are a perfect way to keep warm whilst still looking summery. Even better is if you can roll them up for added casual cool. These beautiful claret ones are from River Island and came with a cute rope and leather belt (just seen). Unfortunately they were last season but they’ll probably still have something very similar if you feel an urge to buy a pair. Other must-have shades are stone/taupe, and navy blue as I think these are the most useful. The white top, scarf and waistcoat all came as a set from Next for less than £30, which I thought was an absolute steal. All three items are so verstaile.  A thin, long sleeve white top is warm enough that on less than scorching summer days, you don’t need a jacket. The waistcoat adds a bit of interest to the outfit as it has some gorgeous metal chain detailing on the back. I think the scarf is the perfect accessory for this overall very laid-back, casual look. To continue this theme I wore the pink moccasions I picked up in the River Island sale – see my blog post here. So, overall, I’m more than a little chuffed with today’s wardrobe decisions – this outfit combo is definitely a keeper, especially since the boyfirend gave it a thumbs up too.
