Hey lovely people, I hope everyone had a good weekend. I found myself with absolutely no plans for once which was slightly depressing and amazing at the same time. I’d say I made due, though. A night out, a killer workout, good food, and a whole lot of coffee definitely makes for a solid weekend.
I’ve been doing some marketing/promo stuff for Nutrishop, so I’ve gotten a chance to check out smaller gyms in my area where we do samplings that I typically wouldn’t ever find my self in. How cool is this retro gym? They had a cardio theater and everything.
Speaking of the gym, I have been feeling so good with my workouts in the past couple months. Leg day is my absolute favorite, in case I haven’t said that a million times already. Squats are my drug of choice. Well, and coffee.
And here’s a gym selfie, because we all know if you don’t take one, you didn’t workout.
Rocking the top knot, all day every day. I have gotten so many requests to do a bun tutorial, would you ladies be interested in one?
Coffee and cute dogs. What more could I want in life.
Actually, walking this trail every day. Life complete.
Followed by waffles. I have a full review on Skoop coming soon, but I have ben using their protein for pancakes and waffles and loving it.
Salad bar love.
Green apple aminos.
I am fully stocked on snacks thanks to Purely Elizabeth and a few other fabulous local Colorado brands. They sent out some foodie Boulder Boxes filled with goodies like my favorite granola, Justin’s pb cups, Quinn popcorn, and Naked Edge veggie strips.
I saw Chef and really liked it. Warning: it will make you SO hungry.
I missed Outside Lands this weekend (sadly, a free ticket did not magically fall in my lap, le sigh), so I went out and drowned my sorrows in [unpictured] vodka soda. I did manage a pre-drink blurry, dark selfie though, which is even better, yes?
Cozy Sunday morning breakfast. I was planning on heading up to San Francisco on Sunday, but wasn’t feeling too hot when I woke up (see above), I did my usual relax/workout/cook Sunday deal.
I saved the best for last, you all. I know everyone is beyond tired of seeing pictures of Quest bars around the internet, but these are chips, so deal with it. They are the new protein chips that Quest Nutrition just released, and they are SO good considering they aren’t technically chips at all. They taste like baked Lays but with 21 grams of protein per little single serving bag. BBQ was my favorite, but the other flavors (cheddar and sour cream, and sea salt) were also delicious.
Happy Monday!
And of my Bay Area friends go to Outside Lands?
Who wants to try the Quest chips?!
