Hey all, I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I loved all your responses to the pizza recipe last week, I’m working on getting more recipes up in the next few months.
I took a quick little trip down to San Diego this weekend, so this is a few shots from that and a little bit of last week. I got a total of 0 workouts in save for a little bit of time on the stationary bike and a few chin ups, so I am more than ready to get back in the gym today.
Dinner one night last week was barbecue chicken and veggies. Simple but yummy.
I know I have expressed my love for summer fruits a million times before, but I will likely keep the fruit pictures coming.
My parent’s pup obviously gets his love of fruit from me. Although he never worked up the courage to actually attempt to eat a cherry. The peaches on my dad’s tree, however, are a different story.
DIY mocha. Iced coffee with almond milk and cacao powder.
After seeing this ManBake “cookie butter” all over Instagram I just had to try it. It is seriously addicting, amazing flavor with just a hint of sweetness.
I made chocolate chip pancakes on Friday morning because I woke up craving chocolate chip cookies. Perfect logic. I posted the recipe on Instagram if anyone is interested.
Americano and the Backstreet Boys on the way to SoCal. I’m connived there is no other way to do a road trip.
Whole Foods dinner. Sushi and salad bar. Oh, and chocolate of course.
Acai bowls on the way home to the Bay. This was actually a mix of acai and pitaya (aka dragon fruit), and it was absolutely delicious. I also got an almond milk chai because they are my current obsession.
In n Out stop for the boy.
Car snacks consisted of fruit, smoothies, bars, and dark chocolate topped with rice whip (aka non dairy reddi-wip, mmm).
