I have made a lot of wedding invitation samples this week. Samples in many different designs and colours. I have had an enquiry from Sweden. I do get a lot of enquiries from overseas. This week a dusky pink ‘Ellie’ wedding invitation scroll went out to Switzerland.

Why do I charge for samples?
Because, I make wedding invitations samples to order. I don’t have samples already made up, so, if I make a sample, I make to the customers color theme. That way you can see exactly how the wedding invitation will look. Wedding invitations can look very different in certain colours. The inserts are always standard wording in a sample. This does not mean you must have that particular wording. You can have any wording of your choice once an order is placed.

Most of the samples at the moment are for weddings in 2014. It’s interesting to see which colours will be popular for 2014.

I have had a couple of requests for wedding scroll invitations with lace. So, this week I put together a new design. I have called it ‘Eleanor‘ because I think it’s such a pretty name.

This wedding scroll invitation has a beautiful pearl type brooch surrounded by sparkling diamontes. The wedding insert is printed on a textured paper which is available in white or ivory. The scroll box front is trimmed with white or ivory lace, a matching satin ribbon and a small pearl shaped heart. This invitation is available in any color scheme. Perfect for a vintage themed wedding.

We have also attended a wedding fayre at Chester Abode Hotel. Met some lovely couples. The main colours for 2014 are orange and lime, orange and fuchsia, orange and lemon. Sunflowers is a popular theme too. I had quite a lot of enquiries for pocketfold style wedding invitations. I do have some designs which I have yet to upload to my web site. I will be adding the new designs over the next couple of weeks.
