Wedding Fair Chester Racecourse 23rd – 24th February 2013

By Julieboyd1 @carolmillerwed

The last week or so I have been busy making up a lot of wedding invitation samples. I have had a lot of enquiries for 2014. I have also been making wedding scroll invitations for small intimate weddings. Some brides only require 10 – 20 invitations. So, whether you want 10 or 100 invitations please get in touch. I don’t have a minimum order.

All my items are handcrafted so please bear in mind the time it takes to make up the orders. It’s better to order too early, than leave it until the last minute, when I might be tied up with a large order that has to be out by a specific date.

This weekend I’m doing a wedding fair at Chester Racecourse.  I don’t do many wedding fairs, mainly because I don’t get the time to make up the range that I have on my web site. Everything on my site have been made for clients, so it rare I have anything spare to exhibit. I may make up a few samples if I’m submitting to a magazine and they request a specific colour, but that’s usually it.

The fair will run over 2 days 23rd – 24th February 2013. I have never exhibited at the Racecourse before so a teeny weeny bit excited. It always well attended.

If you are thinking of going to the wedding fair drop me an email. I can send you a voucher that will discount the entrance fee.

What do you expect to see at a wedding fair?

Do you expect to see the whole range, or a good selection of what a company has to offer?

Do you want to see color swatches?

How do you feel about filling in a questionaire with your wedding details?

Do you want to be contacted about any future promotions?

Do you like the idea of winning a personalised product?

I like wedding fairs because I get the chance to speak with the couple. To find out what they are looking for, their color scheme etc. It gives me a chance to answer any questions they may have, easier than answering questions by email. Sometimes I can get an enquiry and 10 e-mails can go back and forth. I tend to answer e-mail in the evening when my work day is over                    (answering e-mails isn’t work, is it?) otherwise I get caught up when I’m trying to get work finished for posting. It’s easier most of the time to pick up the telephone if you have a specific request.

I’ve had a couple of stationery items featured in this months Wedding Ideas Magazine which I’m pleased about. The magazine is out today.

If you would like to place an order or just make an enquiry please drop me an e-mail

I’m off to make up some more samples for the wedding fair and finish some last minute orders ready for posting on Friday.

Have a good week Julie x
