Check what polarization is

How to recognize polarized sunglasses
Polarized sunglasses often have a distinctive mark or label on one of their lenses (P) or in the inside part of temples (Polarized). However, if you don’t have any of these references, we can figure out if a lens is polarized just by placing it on a LCD screen. When we turn it around, we will see that the screen gets lighter and that it gets dark through the lens on certain turning angles. This is an unmistakable sign that the lens is polarized.
