Courtesy of 'Her Majesty's Daily Telegraph', I bring you this exciting video which will put you off flying for ever! It shows several aircraft landing at Leeds/Bradford airport yesterday in gale force winds. To be honest, anyone who voluntarily flys into Leeds/Bradford deserves everything they get including this orifice-pinching experience. Actually, it reminds me of my own paltry efforts to 'land' my Cessna in sundry airports around the world - including Cairns, Andra! - courtesy of MS Flight Simulator. I, too, tend to approach runways side-ways on but I do it in perfect weather and at the final moment I usually miss the runway altogether and land on the grass before ploughing into the control tower! Anyway, watch this and thank the Lord you weren't on board whilst at the same time admire the incredible skill of the pilots.
