I volunteer as part of the VegNews Magazine Street Team. This means I get copies of each issue to either give away to people interested in veganism or just leave places for people to read. I also do store-checks and library-checks to see if they carry the magazine and ask them to do so if they don’t.
We have a little Facebook group and it’s such a great community. VegNews runs contests for us each month. In December the contest was to post picture of our holiday desserts and sweets. I posted lots of pictures, but the one I won with was my peanut brittle.

Go Max Go Bars! A new cookbook! A Scent of Scandal candle! What a great prize! I must say though, those chocolate bars did not last long at all. I can’t wait to try something from the Blooming Platter cookbook.
Oh Em Gee! This candle smells SO fricking good! It’s like a creamy candy cane scent and I LOVE it. Love the name too. Hehehe. Unfortunately, after 7 years, A Scent of Scandal is no more, so I better make the candle last!
