  • Planned/unplanned exits: As mentioned, some employees have personal or professional plans they're following; to either get married and have children, or to gain enough experience and financial security to move abroad. Others will leave without a map for where they're headed. Impulse resignations can indicate an individual employee may have found they weren't the right fit for your business, or it can indicate problems in your workplace (such as harassment or bullying). Career mobility confidence has increased for people who are employed, meaning they're less concerned about having too few options should they decide to leave their current employer.
