Upon squeezing out the face wash, it had fragrant soap scent mixed with a hint of powder. It's a thick and velvety cream that spreads easily. You can use it with and without a foaming net. When used with a foaming net, the face wash turns into a soft and bubbly pillow that makes me feel like I'm in a cloud. When used without the foaming cleanser, the face wash feels silky when mixed with water. It glides on the skin without any resistance.
After usage, my face felt cleaner and it even looked fairer. The Owlberg extract did a good job in calming my slightly sensitive cheeks down. It is no longer as inflamed as before. I was still able to see my pores but they are insanely clean. It felt like I scrubbed these tiny holes individually. Since my blackheads have been in its original position is the dawn of time, there's no way to remove them aside from extremely painful extraction. On the other hand, the face wash did help with the removal of artificial dirt and whiteheads on my nose.
All in all, the Guna x Hitoyurai Moisture Face Wash surprised me when it transformed my red-sensitive cheeks back to my skin's original colour. Additionally, it does a great job in cleansing my large open pores thoroughly.

The first step after cleansing your face is to apply the moisture lotion. The Guna x Hitoyurai Moisture Lotion acts as a toner that helps hydrate and prepares your face for your multiple skincare steps. It feels like a light-weighted serum and smells like hyaluronic acid. I believe the scent is due to the higher amount of hyaluronic acid in the formula.
Upon contact with my skin, my skin felt frosty and hydrated. The moisture lotion also starts absorbing into my skin instantaneously. During absorption, my face felt slight sticky however after the product was fully sucked into my skin, my face became matte, allowing my makeup to last longer.

The Guna X Hitoyurai Moisture Essence perked my interest the most. It has a high concentration of human stem cell that helps with turning back the time on your skin. I previously raved about how much I love plant stem cells for they are rich in antioxidant and helps renew and regrowth one's skin. Additionally, stem cells products are suitable for sensitive skin as well, thus I do not need to worry if my skin will flare up suddenly.

When pumped out, the Guna X Hitoyurai Moisture Essence have a distinct stem cell scent that is similar to plant stem cells products. It has a consistency between a serum and a gel but leaning more towards the serum lane. The essence has a high absorption rate, seeping in my skin swiftly. The most mind-blowing thing is my face started to feel bouncier after it was fully absorbed. Guna x Hitoyurai Moisture Milk is a blend of different oils to help moisturise the skin. When I pump it out, it has a cloudy-milky look to it. It spreads across the skin easily and cools your skin at the same time. The moisture milk has a scentless cream scent to it. During absorption, it was a little sticky. After it was fully absorbed, my face not only felt back to normal but it still had the cooling sensation as well.
I did another test where I applied the Guna x Hitoyurai Moisture Milk alone to another part of my face for the whole day and I have to say, I was surprised at how moisturized I still felt at the end of the day. I was surprised that the moisture milk alone can keep my face protected from Singapore's humidity. On top of that, despite the blend of oils in its formula, the moisture milk does not feel oily at all, perfect for those with combination skin like me.

Guna x Hitoyurai Moisture Cream is the cream you must-have if you want to battle age with grace. It helps generate lamella - a thin layer of tissue - that aids in improving skin barrier functions. Guna x Hitoyurai Moisture Cream also acts as a barrier that protects the skin from harmful air pollution such as PM2.5.
How to use Guna x Hitoyurai Moisture Cream?

The Guna x Hitoyurai Moisture Cream and Eye Cream have a pump design for their products. This pump design helps keep the products fresh and clean from external pollutants. . I like how you only pump out the amount you need although sometimes you accidentally press out more than expected - this happens more with the eye cream. In those cases, I take what I need for my skin and leave the rest there, gently covering the pump with the cover. If not, I would use it for the other areas of my face eg. using eye cream for smile lines.
I find that 1 full pump from the moisture cream is enough for my face and neck. If that is too little for you, you can add half a pump more. I find the design fascinating for it reminds me of jack in the box when you first use it. Like the kid that love pressing buttons, it makes me want to pump more when I see the cream come out but I have to control the child in me to prevent wastage of product.

I love the design of the moisture cream for it has an interactive component of pushing the pump. It was very satisfying to be able to press the pump down fully. Since the moisture cream was suitable for both day and night usage, the cream was not as thick as other anti-ageing creams that have ceramide in it, making it suitable for oily skin victims as well. However, it was thicker than normal day cream thus suitable for dry skin sufferers. Looking at the ingredients list, it contains humectants, occlusives and emollients. That meant it was suitable for all skin types.
Like the moisture milk, the moisture cream smell like a scentless cream. It spreads smoothly on the skin and it absorbs into the epidermis easily. The moisture cream also makes a good night massage cream for it is silky and glides on your face like an ice skater on ice. This is a great quality to have since we are to massage our face daily to promote blood circulation and look younger.
Ever since I found out about the miraculous skincare ingredient called ceramide, I have been actively searching for skincare products with ceramides in it. If you do not know, ceramides replace skin lipids by filling in the gaps between the skin cells. That means, it helps you renew your face and maintain your youth. It is especially important to find skincare with ceramides when you're older for your skin loses ceramides when you age thus, such products are there to help replenish your lost ceramides and can even make your skin less sensitive than before. Guna x Hitoyurai Moisture Cream is one of the esteemed products that have ceramides in it, automatically pushing its ranking to the top of my skincare list. All the products in the Guna x Hitoyurai skincare range have ceramide and other good ingredients you should look out for in it. I'll be touching more on this part at the bottom of this post.

The skin around your eyes is the thinnest skin on your face, thus you need a special eye cream to hydrate the area. Guna x Hitoyurai Eye Cream contains plant ingredients specialised for the eye area. It is highly moisturizing, anti-glycation and provides a barrier around your eye area too. It has a unique function of resembling botox, preventing wrinkles and repair the skin around the eye.

For me, 1/3 to ½ a pump is enough for my small eye area. When I over pump, I'll tend to cover the excess with the cover so that next time I can use the cream without having to press the top.
Guna x Hitoyurai eye cream had a very thick consistency to it, almost resembling a balm-like texture. This made it felt like a literal protective layer for my eye area. It does not have any distinctive smell to it. My eyes felt very refreshed after application. Due to its thickness, it may take longer than the other products to absorb into the skin. Additionally, it may feel a little greasy if you apply it too generously.
Before
Before my usage, my skin felt tight and it looked dull and dirty. The constant staying up late have taken a toll on my skin over a short period.
2 Weeks Later
Trying out the Guna x Hitoyurai Skincare for 2 weeks has transformed my previously dull skin to a dewy porcelain skin texture. My skin looked and felt super moisturized after my skincare routine. That made me feel like I'm taking care of myself properly - you know how there seemed to be an emphasize of loving yourself correctly these days? I feel like by doing my skincare routine daily and watching my face turn bright and hydrated, makes me feel like I'm giving myself enough self-love among the hustle and bustle of one's everyday life.
- Ceramide - Replace skin lipids by filling in the gaps or between the skin cells. A must-have if you are looking for effective anti-ageing products. Additionally, look for skincare products that have air-tight dispensers design so that the product would not be exposed to air or sunlight every time you open it. With air-tight dispenser designed products like the ones in the Guna x Hitoyurai Skincare Line, skincare products will work more effectively.

Butylene Glycol - Maintains skin hydration and can temporarily plump up the skin and improve fine lines. This ingredient is popular in skincare products sold in summer countries like Singapore. Since this ingredient is very light, it helps those with oily skin type and acne-prone.
- Dimethicone - Creates a barrier to prevent water loss. It is suitable for people that have dry to very dry skin. The downside of this is it will cause shiny skin but that was never a problem for me for dewy skin is in trend lately.
Even with the slight lightning difference, my skin did look a lot more dewier than before. So much so that it looks like its reflecting light off it. Additionally, I do look fairer than before, something I would never thought I would experience since I thought I've peaked in my skin's paleness.

All in all, I love the Guna x Hitoyurai Skincare Line. My favourite product is the Guna X Hitoyurai Moisture Essence. It instantaneously transformed my skin into a trampoline. The one drawback about it would be the size of it. Why does it have to be so small?! According to the good ingredients, the Guna x Hitoyurai Skincare is perfect for people of all kinds of skin type. I am very relieved that the most sensitive area of my face - around my eye - did not get irritated by the eye cream for I previously had a bad allergic with another eye cream that I have now banned from my life.
With that, I can safely say that Guna x Hitoyurai Skincare Line is suitable for sensitive skin. Plus, with the abundance of good ingredients in their ingredient list, you will regret not getting them. Allow me to give you a short tutorial on how to spot good ingredients in a skincare product.
