Rumblingtummy
Welcome to Rumbling Tummy, a blog that showcase all my tried and tested recipes adapted from cookbooks, other sources or my own creation.
Not only about food, Rumbling Tummy also focused on other wonders of life.
I am born and raised in Singapore. Though I have a mom who is a great cook, I was never interested being in the kitchen when young.
I only started my passion to cook and bake when my kids came along and since then it was a no turning back.
I started blogging back in 2006, under the blog name Precious Moments. A blog that journey with me for a good 7 years. It went through the ups and downs of my life journey as a wife, a mother and my passion for baking and cooking.
In 2013, I decided to move on to the next stage of my life focusing more on my kitchen experiments and thus Rumbling Tummy was born.
To find new recipes to satisfy those "little" rumbling tummies I have at home. It is also a journal that documents good food, great companies and many happy memories along the way.
Hopefully this year, I will be bold enough to seek more challenges so that it can expand my repertoire.
For those who are new to the kitchen world, I hope this blog will inspire you.
It is okay to fail but most importantly never give up on yourself for the satisfaction of seeing happy faces on the dinning table, the reward cannot be measured. As what Chef Martin Yen's catch phrase, "If I can do it, so can you!"
In reality, the same recipe might work for some and not for others. Do not take it too hard that others can achieved and not you. For each and every mankind has different taste palette. Taste is subjective and don't worry, I won't feel offended if you don't share the same opinion as me but do share with me your experience with the experiment so that I can improve on it as well.
For those who are great cook or baker, I hope we can share tips and expertise with each other.
After all, blogging is about sharing and learning from each other. I was inspired by others and I hope I can inspire you too.
Drop me a note to let me know you are around. Such comments also keeps me going forward and motivated.
So now let's start having some fun.
