Us

By Colloquial Wordsmiths

You and me were us.

Didn’t we?

Only the mishandled confessions

but the feeling buried in serenity .

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

that’s supposed to be just “friends”.

But, the way were we

held the stronger bond strings to be.

You were with your present

and I was entangles always in my past.

Never did you speak and neither did I

maybe we thought ‘US’ was not meant to be.

We left each other at our crucial times,

when we told each other get away from our lives.

May be we thought that emotions died

but we both know that we cried.

a

a

Speculations, and contemplation,

the river-dale  of the (mis)-interpretations.

Where did not we just moved to stand out

but got gloomy and decided to cut ourselves  out.

After the years of silence,

we face each other once again.

One cup coffee ,one hug and a lot of  tear shed –

” Will you and me will be us again ? ”
