Today I filmed one of my favorite makeup looks to wear as of late, some of you may recognize it from my original post on a review of the Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat palette. I love this rich burnt-orange tonal look. If for any reason I lived a life that required a glamourous everyday makeup look this would be it.
I have also been obsessively watching celebrity makeup artist videos to pick apart their secrets to flawless looking skin and have been trialing out different techniques. Ultimately, I didn’t learn anything revolutionary or new but my big take away was that I was just being extremely lazy. You cannot get a flawless looking base without time and strategy. It’s like I know this already but I just needed to remind myself of the obvious. I’m still experimenting but I’m supper happy with how this came out, once I nail my application and product selections I’ll be doing an updated foundation routine.
This is my favorite everyday palette, it holds all the tones I prefer when doing my makeup for the real world and it's just excellent. I love an all matte eye and I might prefer the petite edition to the full size which I was also a huge fan of. This is the perfect selection of warm mattes for me.
