When I'm doing my makeup, I always play Arctic Monkeys songs in full blast on my CD player (yes I have an iPod but I still prefer my old-school CD player lol).
On a normal day, I tend to keep my make-up extremely simple by focusing on simply perfecting my skin tone, adding some blush, and a red lipstick. On special days I also contour and highlight my entire face ala Kim Kardashian, but I don't do that daily.

The reason I keep my makeup simple is because I believe that "natural" beauty looks best. Obviously I also like glamorous makeup for special events but on a regular day-to-day basis it's best to keep it simple. Use makeup to "enhance" your features, not to change your entire face.
My one beauty product that I absolutely cannot live without is my YSL 'Touche Eclat' Highlighter Pen. It is the best makeup product in the world! It can instantly make you look lively and glowing, conceal your dark spots, highlight your nose and cheekbones, and make you look more awake on those days when you haven't had enough sleep and feel like a zombie. It's a definite must-have!
