I have been finding great bloggers recently and here's one pretty blogger that, if I'm not mistaken, came across my blog first and I'm am always so thrilled to be connected to Filipina bloggers. ^^ So here is Juvy for today's Ur Made Up Face!
Oh, and before I forget, if anyone is interested in being featured in the series, please feel free to contact me. Email is on the sidebar! ^^
Hi! I am Juvy, and I just got married last year! My interest with makeup reached its peak when I was looking for a Makeup Artist for my wedding. And because of that, I thought about starting my own blog. You can visit my blog at www.plumpcheeks.com. I work as an Accounting Software Analyst of a Shared Services company during the wee hours of the day. I love strolling around the mall with my husband, and watching movies. I read blogs everyday, and I love watching Youtube beauty channels whenever I can. I usually play with my makeup during weekends, and that’s also when I usually take photos of what I am going to blog about for the coming week.
My usual wear is neutral eyeshadows. I have both the Urban Decay Naked and Naked 2 Eyeshadow palettes, and soon the Naked 3! They are my go-to palettes because there are a lot of colors to choose from and a lot of looks to create. Like most women, I am more of a blush and lip junkie, so I tend to be more adventurous in wearing different shades of blushes and lipsticks.
My FOTD is my everyday office look. For my base, I used the Pond’s Flawless White BB Cream in Beige. It provided enough coverage that I like so I did not bother using a foundation. I dabbed a bit of Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer under my eyes to hide my under eye circles. To keep me oil free, I set my base with the Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder.
I used my IN2IT eyebrow powder and The Face Shop Lovely ME:EX Auto Eyebrow to define my eyebrows. For my eyes, I used the Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base to prolong the wear of my eyeshadows. Then, I used my Urban Decay Naked 2 eyeshadow palette - Suspect all over my eyelids, Busted for my outer eyelids and blended on my crease, and Tease to blend all the harsh lines. I used Foxy to highlight my brow bone area, and Verve to highlight the inner corners of my eyes. I used the LA Girl Glide Gel Eyeliner Pencil closest to my upper lash line and waterline, and the CoverGirl Waterproof Volume Mascara in Black Brown.
For my blush, I used my NARS Guy Bourdin One Night Stand Cheek Palette’s Deep Throat for my blush, Orgasm to contour, and Devotee to highlight. For the lips, I wore the Revlon Lacquer Balm in Provocateur. I love wearing neutral eyeshadows and bright or dark lipsticks everyday, but I am trying to explore wearing colored eyeshadows now. I love how makeup can enhance or transform my look, and boost my confidence up to 110%. Haha!
The product I can’t live without? Lipstick! I can wear lipstick and my huge eyeglasses without worrying about the rest of my face. I can’t really pick a specific product because I love everything makeup!
I hope I didn’t bore you with my long post. Enjoy your day, and thanks Joanne for this feature!
