We got married around five weeks ago and, although ours did not end up being a "rock theme" Wedding, it's something I panned on going for but was not sure if we could pull it off in time.
But if you are thinking of or are going to do the whole rock look I have got some fantastic research for you all and lots of styling ideas for your bridesmaids thanks to Coast
Traditionally there were two types of colours but nowadays we are seeing a decline in this for a more up to date modern feel.
Black is one of which to make a big statement I like to think of it as "Black Glam"
First some very useful research from Coast “Black, gray and silver were popular choices (19%) to see more on this post pop over on to Rock N Roll Brides website there you will see in detail all the information.

A fashion forward bandeau dress, this figure skimming style is the perfect party piece with its cross over panelling and structured bodice. Layered with a beautiful sheer overlay, the chic Liv Stripe Dress is a lightweight style that feels gorgeous to wear. The fit and flare silhouette flatters your figure whilst the horizontal stripes add a classic twist. This dress is closed with a concealed back zip
There’s nothing more flattering than a little black dress this is why we are all going crazy over this trend and yes its acceptable plus (Trendy)
I think its very good to mix things up having bridesmaids black themed dresses with different styles to suit each individual maid.I would properly say go for the shorter dresses for the summer months and longer ones round winter months.
And remember you don't have to be into your Rock / Goth to try these styles out!
