Unboxing My First BDJ (Belle De Jour) Box!

By Blessmybag @blessmybag

I’m thankful and glad the Belle de Jour team sent an invite my way for a big peek at their own range of beauty sample boxes.  Let’s have a closer look, shall we?

I’m actually genuinely delighted at how jam-packed my BDJ blogger sample box is and they’ve managed to even fit in 2 or more full-sized products in there!  I’m particularly curious about that tiny sample of BB Cream.  The BDJ Box is brought to us beauty lovers by the same editorial team that brought us the Belle de Jour planner which was spearheaded by Kat Dy.  Belle de Jour is a well-thought-out planner for women that includes tips on beauty and self confidence plus shop and dine coupons to help and encourage you to live more fully throughout the year.

We also have Barbi Chan the makeup artist and our very own blogger friend Tara on board as part of the beauty ministry team for the BDJ Box subscription service.  Tara is the cheerful face behind the blog Chronicles of Vanity(dot)com.  Read more to get the full post inclusive of subscription details, payment plans, contact details, perks, and photos from the BDJbox launch!

At the launch, Kat Dy shared the excitement and details about the release of their BDJ boxes with magazine beauty editors and bloggers.  She explained more details on the brands involved and what subscribers can expect from the service for just Php480 per individual box subscription or if they choose the longer subscription periods.

What’s great about the BDJ Box subscription service is you get more payment plan options and varying subscription periods so you can choose which option is perfect for you.  For the longer 3-month/6-month plans of course you get to save, instead of Php480 per box it becomes about Php466 per box.  I’ve actually just subscribed to the PREPAID Php1400 plan to test the service for 3-months.  There’s also a current launch bonus ongoing, for the first 100 girls who subscribe to the Php1400  3-month PREPAID plan they get a deluxe sample size Benefit Cosmetics product, and the first 30 girls to subscribe for the Php2,800 6-month PREPAID plan will get exclusive VIP invites to an upcoming Guerlain event!  I’m actually hoping I made it in time for the Benefit bonus, if not I’m still excited nonetheless.  Look at this image and don’t try and tell me that the brands partly peeking out from the borders don’t excite you, super hoping it’s for real…it’s gotta be, I mean look, they wouldn’t torture us otherwise, right?

I don’t think the image is bluffing either ‘coz Kat recently said she actually just returned from New York, spending time there for a year.  Aww, look at me trying to put two and two together, hehehe, I may not be connecting the dots properly so don’t quote me on that, am only guessing.  I’m seeing some obviously familiar brands ever so discreetly displayed in this image peeking out from the edges, hopefully this is a preview of things to come from BDJ Box.  I seriously hope so!  For more information check out their website at BDJbox.com, email: [email protected] and/or follow them on Facebook at facebook.com/bdjbox.
