Topshop Magical Lip Tint

Topshop have just launched their new make up collection, called 'Sisters of the New Moon'. It's a collection of pretty silvers, pearls and greys on a theme that looks like oldy-worldy and fantasy like. There's 4 nail colours, temporary nail tattoos, a 'lash catcher' mascara (would try if I didn't have so many already!), an eye liner and two lipsticks. The one i'm reviewing is a clear glittery gloss lipstick that changes color once you apply it to your lips.



I apologize for the quality of the photos - I'm no photographer, and my flat is awfully dark, even with the lights on so finding the right angle blah blah blah...ANYWAY! Isn't this the most lovely thing? It's really smooth and glides on clear, rather like a lip balm, and starts to change color almost straight away. When you first open the lipstick, it actually looks like a pink glitter gloss, but it doesn't go on that color. It did wear off once I had a drink but as it's not supposed to be a stain this is only a tiny criticism. I like the packaging, the tube feels study and well made and it's a generous size product. It's £9 which I think is reasonable considering you could go to Smashbox or Too Faced and buy their versions for around the £20 mark. Overall, i'm really pleased with my purchase and would recommend this to anybody!
