I wanted to do a quickie review on these really yummy products I got from Too Faced, courtesy of my blog's sponsor, Skin Care Rx.
Skin Care Rx contacted me a few months back offering to sponsor my blog. (Yay for Me!) They gave me a credit to use in any of their 3 online shops in exchange for my placement of their banner on my blog. It's sitting pretty on the right hand column under my profile ;-)
I made sure to look at their website in depth before I made any decisions.
I was extremely pleased with what I found! Skin Care Rx is a HUGE online beauty store. Skin Care Rx, Apothica & SkinBotanica are all connected. They advertise as "3 Sites-80K+ products-1 shopping cart" and that's exactly what it is.
So when I say huge I want you to imagine Sephora, Ulta and all the beauty counters in all the department stores on 5th Ave, in NYC....combined! There are 100's of beauty brands and over 80,000 products to choose from for both Men & Women. From candles, potpourri, makeup, hair, body and skin care to zit zappers and hair tools, this site really gives new meaning to "One Stop Shopping"
I pride myself on knowing (or at least knowing of) most products out there today but I have never heard of some of the brands on this site! It took me an hour just to look at everything and I wasn't even close to done. Lol!
I was so excited to pick out some new products but I was so overwhelmed with how many there were I didn't know where to look first >.<
I decided to wait until I knew I really wanted something and use my credit then. I'm so predictable this way and I knew I'd end up getting makeup. Lol! I was ready to try a new body scrub, lotion or face mask and instead I went for the makeup. Never fails :-/
A few weeks ago I was working on a client and they had this really sweet smelling matte bronzer from Too Faced called Chocolate Soleil. I was looking for a good matte bronzer because most of mine have some kind of shimmer so I put it on my "must get immediately" list. I remembered I wanted to try the Too Faced, Extreme Lip Injection as well so I placed my order.
I've been using Too Faced makeup forever and love the brand so, so much! My package arrived rather quickly along with 5 small samples. Yay! I love samples :-)
I already knew the bronzer smelled like chocolate (because it's actually made with real cocoa) but I didn't know it had a sweet taste to it too. It's divine! No, I wasn't eating my bronzer, I made that little discovery by accident. Lol! However, I'm not complaining :-)
I can actually smell it on my skin for as long as I have it on, it's crazy!
I wrote a lip plumper blog (which seems to be a favorite because it's still in my top 10) a few months ago *Lip Plumpers* In it I mention wanting to try this. It only took me 5 months to get! Lol!
Anyway...the lip plumper is so intense it burned my lips! But not entirely in a bad way. The tingle factor is so strong that you feel like you've got instant wind burn or chapped lips. You'll want to scratch them a little but don't! It's only intense like that for a few minutes then your lips are pleasantly deep pink and what appear to be bee stung. I will say it might be uncomfortable for some but I know the drill with these things so I stuck it out. This gloss is SO shiny! I wore it over lipsticks and it's gorgeous.

The other thing I love about Skin Care Rx is that you can find so many items on sale. At any given time on any of the 3 pages you can find a number of products on sale or at a discounted price.
