Thoughts On The Seventh Son Movie | Entertainment

By Heather Hahn @HeatherHahnn

I hope everyone is well and doing great.

As most or many of you know, if you’ve been reading the blog for quite some time now, i’ve partnered with Universal Pictures on sharing my thoughts on new and upcoming movies coming out in theaters.

Last night, I had the opportunity to see the movie “Seventh Son“. This time, I did actually have the chance to see the entire trailer, before I went to see the movie, and honestly going into the movie, I thought I was going to get a ‘Lord Of The Rings‘ vibe.

I was never really much of a fan of ‘Lord Of The Rings’, because I just never really understood it, but seeing “Seventh Son“, I was actually fairly pleased with the movie itself, and you had to wear 3D glasses, which just made seeing it that much better.

The movie stars Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore, and Ben Barnes.

The movie story line is basically about a young boy who is apprenticed to the local town Spook to learn to fight off evil spirits. He is taught to become as powerful as the local Spook, and is given challenges that he has to try and fight on his own. His first challenge was when the ‘Mother Malkin’,escapes her confinement when Spook is away, and it is just the young boy, and evil witch ‘Mother Malkin’.

My favorite part about the whole movie though, is that it shows strength, and that someone previously so weak, can have enough strength and enough courage  to be like others that have greater strengths. Weak individuals that maybe thought they wouldn’t be so capable of such things, are capable and have just enough power to do accomplish the same thing that others accomplish.

Would I see the movie again?

Yes, I would.
