A peek this week from a fantastic wedding celebration in Nottinghamshire at Thoresby Hall. This image, taken just prior to some formal shots of the bride and groom signing the register, captures the bride whispering a private message to her husband. The register being signed by their witnesses and the ring box open on the table in front of them indicates the point at which, during the wedding day, it was captured – no posing, no set up, just as it happened. While there is nothing wrong with the more formal images that followed, it is the oft unseen moments like these that drive my wedding photography.
