Oh hey, is it already Thursday? Thanks to the lovely Amanda , that means I get to ramble a bit and not feel at all sorry about it. Not that I would anyways, you know how I roll.
This is what my Monday morning looked like.
I slept at my parent’s hours since I had an early physical therapy appointment and it is right by the office. Which meant I got to hang out with my favorite puppy (I guess I really can’t call an nine year old dog a puppy anymore..) in the sun.
And drink coffee. In the sun. So basically the perfect morning.
Okay, now let’s talk food, as usual.
I used to do this thing called “Lulu lunches” where I would meal prep and pack a nice lunch in a Lululemon bag.
Now I just get Whole Foods salad bar and throw it in a Lulu. Totally the same thing.
I was craving breakfast after I already I ate dinner the other day, so naturally I made waffles. And naturally I topped them with marshmallows and rice whip.
As if that wasn’t enough, I proceeded to make pancakes the next night for dinner. I think I have a breakfast addiction.
I finally bought these paleo wraps to try out and they are so easy to wrap up, unlike the multiple other wheat free versions of a “wrap” I have attempted to use.
I stuffed this one with turkey bacon, avocado, goat cheese, and greens. The cheese making it totally not paleo. Got to have that cheese.
And that ice cream…
I have a problem. I am obsessed with Halo Top Creamery.
Okay, so I guess you all already knew that. But after Ryan reached out to me and told me a bit more about the (small) company, I fell even more in love. Seriously, all four flavors are SO good, and they don’t upset my dairy-senstive tummy at all. I have been enjoying them topped with rice whip and chocolate chips, or straight from the pint.
Summer makes me crave all things frozen. So I have also been loving on Arctic Zero’s new flavors.
Now, these definitely aren’t ice cream, but they are a darn good frozen protein shake. They sent me their new flavors, orange, coconut, and sea salt caramel to try out. I usually am not a fan of anything orange flavored, but the orange is actually my favorite. Oh, and the coconut is fabulous in smoothies, it makes them taste like a tropical vacation. Speaking of tropical vacations…
I am going to visit the boy in San Diego this weekend. He recently moved there for work so I am going to have plenty of fun taking mini weekend vacays to hang out by the beach.
With that, I’m going to go throw some clothes in a bag and call it packing. Did I mention I am also in the process of packing up my entire apartment? Yeah.
Thank you again to our favorite spoon for hosting.
Favorite ice cream flavor. Go.
