THELAVICOS Nutrition Hydrogel Mask Review

You all know I love sheet masks. I use a mask at least once a week and for the past two weeks I've been using masks 2-3 times a week because my skin has been acting up. This might be due to the fact that the weather has drastically changed here in the East Coast, me being stressed, and me trying on a different skin care products almost every two weeks. Although my skin is not really sensitive, switching up products too often stresses out the skin too and most likely I would not be able to catch hypersensitivity to a product or an ingredient that fast because by the time I break out I have already switched to another product.
Face masks are always my savior during these times since it is an instant gratification for my skin. I've drenched my skin with soothing and hydrating masks over the last two weeks. The THELAVICOS Nutrition Hydrogel Mask is the perfect mask to use for my skin right now since I am due to use brightening and anti-wrinkle mask (I like rotating the types of masks I use). 


Made out of swiftlet nest extract, lactobacillus/soybean ferment extract, adenosine, niacinamide and palmitoyl tetrapeptide. Swiftlet nest extract stimulates cell regrowth, promotes wound healing and improves skin barrier. Soybean extract in skin care has shown that it is great for combination skin since it hydrates dry areas and decreases dryness in other areas as well. Isoflavone is a plant-derived compound with estrogenic activity (bind the estrogen receptor and promote estrogen-responsive gene transcription) and soybeans and soy products is the richest source of this. An isoflavone in soy called aglycones improves appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and other signs of aging. Adenosine boosts levels of collagen and elastin in the body. Niacinamide or Vitamin B3 is a vital ingredient for reducing signs of anti-aging, rosacea relief and acne treatment since it serves as a fuel to strengthen cellular bonds in the skin and helps tighten the skin. Palmitoyl tetrapeptide is a synthetic peptide compound that reduces skin inflammation.
The THELAVICOS Nutrition Hydrogel Mask is a two - piece mask which has a subtle mesh side. To use, apply this mask after you have cleansed and toned, fit the upper half first and then followed by the lower half. The side with the transparent film should be the one sitting on your face. Remove after 20-30 minutes and gently tap the remaining serum on your face afterwards. Use two to three times a week.

I love the fact that it is a hydrogel mask. Although I do like the cotton sheet masks, hydrogel masks are in a different level since the air won't dry out your serum. Also, hydrogel masks feels more soothing on the skin especially if you pop it in the fridge for about 5 minutes. 
I also like that it is a two-piece mask since it would fit one's face better than a one piece mask. As you can see on the photo above, it is a bit big for my nose but since it's a two-piece mask, the mask sits perfectly on my face. 
I really love how this mask felt on my skin, very soothing and extremely hydrating. My skin felt really smooth and supple and bright after using this although after going through 3 masks already I can't tell if it did anything to the fine lines on my forehead which I've been noticing a lot lately. 
I definitely recommend this mask and for a box of 5 it is at 33, 500 KW ($33.50). Individually, that would be about $7 which is pretty steep but quality hydrogel masks retail from $6 and up anyways so I still think it is priced right.
