All of the above photos were snapped in Florida just over a week ago.
I didn’t tell you about this trip because there is a part of me that is still very paranoid about trip announcements. Until the ticket is in my hand, until I am boarding the plane, until I’ve cleared customs in the host country, I am not going anywhere.
In any case, I made it to Florida. I traveled with one of my dearest friends from school, and we went to visit a small cluster of our shared dearest friends, also from school. There was a LOT of eating (namely, seafood), and a lot of Moscow mules, beer, wine, beer, margaritas, and the like.
I will certainly tell you more about my trip to Florida soon, but I want to say is this: 2016, if all goes to plan, could turn out to be one of my most epic travel years to date. Fear doesn’t hold me back from going, but fear definitely prevents me from making any announcements in blog format. I’m definitely going places this year. I’m definitely leaving the country (multiple times). But where, and for how long… well… let’s just hold our collective breath a little longer. I still have a few tickets to buy, a passport to renew, some malaria meds to acquire, and a LOT of packing to do.
